Writing coaching

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

I have spent many years living the passion of being a writer and now it has been my good fortune to be involved in teaching Creative Writing at university level. I’ve learned the hard way about how to express myself in prose – that is by making millions of mistakes and writing thousands of pages that were simply destined for the dustbin. Out of this has come several novels, one of which has been published, and I am now working on another book.

If you are an aspiring writer or even an established writer, you can benefit from some personal coaching on both the technical aspects of writing and on the emotional side. Writer’s block is something most of us struggle with at some time or another, so if you’re in the grips of it, let’s see what’s behind it and get you up and running again.

I also run ongoing writing workshops, focusing on the novel and other long prose forms.

Allergy relief

Thursday, November 20th, 2008

When a harmful substance or organism (a pathogen) gets into the body our immune system kicks into action, and one of the products of this is a compound called histamine. The purpose of the histamine is to alert ust to the fact that we’ve been exposed to a harmful substance, and it does this by causing itching, swelling, and redness. If everything is working properly, we shouldn’t have to exprience this too often. The problem happens when the body somehow comes to associate a harmless substance with a harmful one, and so it begins secreting histamine inappropriately.

The medical approach to this is simply to tackle the effects and to throw anti-histamine chemicals into the system to reduce the histamine levels. If you’ve taken any of these preparations, you’ll know that they work to an extent, but they also have side effects. A more satisfying and healthful approach would be to stop the allergy at its source.

The Mindfree Allergy Relief Process offers the possibility of permanently removing the allergy by finding the root cause of the reaction and then reprogramming the body to act more appropriately. We begin with a gentle regression technique and then use our powers of imagination to anchor the new understanding and break up the old pattern of reaction.

The Mindfree Allergy Relief Process can usually be done in one or two sessions.

Testimonials
"It was totally amazing, no fear, no anxiety and a totally relaxed experience. I chatted on the plane and in airports and can hardly believe it myself.

Wow, I am amazed and want to thank you for helping me along the way of the most debilitating fear that stopped me from travelling."
